Pensora (getpensora.com) is a set of retirement calculators run by Openverse. This page explains, in plain language, what happens to your data when you use the site.

Calculator inputs stay in your browser

Every calculator on this site runs entirely on your device. When you enter your age, account balance, birth date, or any other number, it is used to compute a result right there in your browser and is never sent to our servers. We don't see it, store it, or have any way to recover it.

Optional transactional alerts

Some pages let you request a specific reminder or launch alert. This is always optional — your result and downloads are already available. We store your email, selected topic, source page, consent timestamps, a shortened user-agent value, and one-way hashes used for security and suppression. You must confirm by email before alerts begin and every recurring alert has a one-click unsubscribe.

Cloudflare D1 stores the subscription. Cloudflare Email Sending is the primary delivery provider; Resend may be used if Cloudflare Email Sending is unavailable. Unconfirmed requests are deleted after 7 days. Unsubscribing stops mail immediately; the plaintext address is removed after 30 days while a one-way hash is retained to prevent accidental resubscription and duplicate sends. We do not use these addresses for a general newsletter or affiliate offers.

Product analytics

Where enabled, we use PostHog to understand which pages and calculators people find useful — things like page views and button clicks. This does not include your calculator input values, and it is not used to identify you personally.

No ads, no selling data

Pensora carries no advertising, and we do not sell, rent, or share your data with data brokers or third-party advertisers.

Hosting logs

This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which keeps standard server logs (like IP address, request time, and page requested) for security and reliability. These are Cloudflare's infrastructure logs, not something we query for analytics.
